As the Business Development Sales Manager, you will sell your own accounts and help us build, motivate, train and manage a sales team.
On the sales side, you and your team generate new sales through cold calling, lead follow up, the large existing data base and incoming inquires generated by marketing. You will meet with prospects for web and face-to-face demos from a 10-state region and establish a relationship to bring in new clients to our firm. In addition, you will attend up to four to five all-expense-paid national trade shows in exciting cities across the U.S., where you will get hundreds of new leads.
As sales manager, you will also train, motivate and manage the team to reach our sales goals. You will be responsible for pipeline management and sales results for yourself and the team.
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter, driven for success. A positive communicator who is able to meet new people easily, the winning salesperson will be able to enthusiastically influence people with a strong sense of urgency. Preferred attributes include the ability to quickly learn and effectively build, train and manage a sales team.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of Five years of sales management experience and five years of B2B sales experience.
• Previous B2B sales experience
• Experience representing an ad agency, web design company or video production company or any company selling to higher education or technology solutions
• Ability to write, proof, present and close proposals
• Ability to get appointments, find new business and convert leads into orders
• A college degree with a 3.0 GPA
